Yeah, I've kinda died around here. But hey, I did not want to fail my Core 1 mock. On the plus side I didn't.

Mechanics 1, on the other hand, will get me kicked off the course if I ever have a mock exam. XD
It's officially the beginning of NaNoWriMo 2007 for us here in the UK. My inner editor is slowly learning that if she shows up, she gets hit with a biiiiiig stick until she buggers off again. It might mean my writing turns into a whole bunch of crap after crap, but maybe after a few days I'll actually be able to type more than 170 words in just under 20 minutes. At 12.01 am.

are the poor sods attempting this challenge with me. They're much more likely to complete it, and have an even higher chance of having something written that can be read by the normal population. After all, what do I currently have? A village, a staircase and one nuked suitcase. My point exactly. And it's 12.30 am. I should be sleeping. Technically since it is also half term, I should be doing the homework set before the holiday. Which I still need to download from moodle.

Don't expect to get any coherent sentence out of me this month. If you have no idea what I am talking about, visit this --->

And if anyone is particularly good with foreign languages, I need help thinking up a title involving the word 'fruit'. Please don't ask, unless you don't really care about a sensible answer.

Just a quick update to say a few things.
First of all, I will eventually get around to commenting on the works in my message center, I'm just a lazy sod at the moment.
Second, I seem to be experiencing what people call 'art block' at the moment. Either that or laziness like the above. Maybe I'll be able to shift it in a few weeks by attempting to make some more charms. I have some sketches floating about my desk which I'd like to make the lineart for at some point. Who knows. It'll probably have to wait until I figure out the perfect balance of coffee in my system. At the moment, it's either too much or too little to function after college.

I'm going to learn how to play UFS next weekend if I remember. And yesterday at Pharaohs Tour for Yugioh I got my ass kicked because everyone was playing Tier 1 decks (including me). Plus it's a stupid idea playing 12 traps in a format that has Jinzo at 2 and Royal Decree at 2. You're just asking to get trampled by trap negation. Or by a couple of Monarchs.
Yeah, that's it for now. Maybe there'll be an update more interesting than this around half term. Or not, knowing me.
So far I've had 8 days of college.
Damn, that place is big.
The first year is more than 6 times the size of the entire student and staff body at my previous school.
And they've stuck me in a tutor group full of smart people.
I think they've put me in the wrong group. XD
But our tutor likes us because we don't give her that many problems. ^^
The swipe system keeps me entertained.
*beep* *beep* *beep* *giggle*
You can tell I'm easily amused.
Most of the time I only have to stay in one building, as 3 of my subjects are in the same department.
Other times I have to sprint between the other 2 subject buildings (on opposite sides of campus) in a matter of minutes.

There's a Spar shop 20 meters down the road from the building I practically live in.
So yeah, everything has been fine and dandy for the most part.
And now for the list of things that didn't go so well, but afterwards seem pretty damn funny.
- I've argued with the hot drinks machine more than once. I can never get the buttons to work.
- I've ended up in my PLT's office twice already.
- Both times were to get my timetable changed.
- The second time I got asked how I ended up in there twice in 4 days.
- I was only there because the magical timetable fairies thought it would be funny to add an extra 4 lessons of maths to my timetable, making it 12 lessons of maths a week. The people in the other building refused to change it on fear of being bitten by my PLT if they changed someone from his group's timetable.
- I got caught in the revolving door to Allen.
- I then spent the next 5 minutes watching other people get caught in the same door. XD
- The building I take Business Studies in, because I keep forgetting how to pronounce the name, keeps getting called a brand of washing powder.
- Similarly, the computer resources system we use is now a stuffed Final Fantasy creature with a red floating ball attached to its head.
- They want us to 'enrich our program' by joining some extra curricular activity... but there's no way I can do that as all the things I'd remotely be interested in taking are in times when I'm in lessons. So I'm going to get in trouble in a few weeks for not signing up for anything. Aren't 5 A/AS levels fun?
That's been my past 2 weeks.
I've done a few sketches... which I haven't bothered to finish/lineart yet.
I think they're just going to keep breeding on my desk.
Along with the stick men I sketch out when trying to develop a sketch idea.
Between that and the amount of notes I take in class, I'm going to run out of paper fast.

Good thing there is a supplies shop on campus.

It sells a lot of stationary and art supplies that I haven't seen anywhere else.
Or at least things I haven't seen at a good price. ^^
I'm going to flee now.
Even the thought of college makes me tired.
Until next time, never sit at the back of the bus on the top deck. Just trust me on this one.
